Bring it! It’s brought. OK, now bring it the fuck outta here.

So, no doubt y’all have already heard about the Expelled kerfluffle, wherein PZ Myers was EXPELLED! from a screening of the creationist claptrap propaganda of the same name. A movie to which he graciously contributed an interview, before he realized it was a piece of creationist claptrap propaganda.

(What’s that? Oh, you haven’t heard? Well, go read PZ’s accounts, here and here. I won’t spoil the punchline.)

But it gets better. Filmmakers Ben Stein, Mark Malkis, et al. invited Rebecca Watson of Skepchick to participate in a teleconference on the movie, and she aided and abetted our curmudgeonly atheist troublemaker in crashing the conference call. Hilarity ensued.

When did the FCC greenlight circle jerks on primetime tv?

November 2nd, 2007 2:04 pm by Kelly G.

What else would you call this “performance” by “paranormalist” Jim Callahan on the Halloween episode of Phenomenon?

As if Callahan’s masturbatastic act isn’t obscene enough, Uri Geller jumps in with a reacharound. And somehow Criss Angel is the one who’s censored for dropping an apparent “bullshit” on the two, ahem, bullshitters? Puhlease.

I especially love how Geller criticized a later act (Mike Super, who is, in fact, totally super) for being “overly dramatic”…even though you can’t find more over-the-top, D-grade “acting” than Callahan’s on the daytime soaps.
