Sarah Palin, Live from New York
September 29th, 2008 1:20 pm by Kelly GarbatoOh, Tina Fey, you are a fooking genius! (And Amy Poehler, you’re no dubya, either.)
Seriously, Hitch, suck on this shit:
Here’s the original interview, in its entirety, for comparison; there are a number of shorter clips available on YouTube as well:
And, for extra comedic hilarity, a side-by-side of Fey and Palin reading the same script:
Beware the misogynist URL at the end of the video; neutralpundit seems to be anything but neutral when it comes to outspoken (“shrill”) women.
Oh, but wait – “shrill” isn’t a sexist slur, he argues: “The word ‘shrill’ doesn’t just refer to loud, high pitched tone. It’s an adjective that also refers to someone–male OR female–who is ‘strident’ or ‘intemperate.’”
Way to ignore cultural context, douchenozzle. If you need to preface your website with “I’m not a sexist, but…,” then – duh! – you’re a sexist!
Seriously, dude, I doubt that Tina Fey would appreciate you appropriating her totally non-sexist Sarah Palin spoof in order to promote your own misogyny. I certainly don’t.
But then again, I’m just a shrill cunt, dontchaknow.
