Gibson recently released the Joan Jett Signature Melody Maker, their first and only signature electric guitar (ever!) for a female artist.

How fucking awesome is that?

On Joan’s end, anyway. Gibson, not so much. Seriously, guys, it took y’all this long to honor a female?

Bah, at least they didn’t release a pink version.
