On a serious note, Al also has children and eats meat – both of which significantly add to his carbon imprint – as do most other environmentalists. Yet, neither necessarily negate the truth of what he/they are saying. Dislike Al (or those “elitist” tree huggers) all you want, but don’t use that as an excuse to avoid acting in an ethical manner where the environment is concerned.

Even a super secret death ray wouldn’t need 20 times the national average of household energy usage.
